Improving the energy efficiency of your home
If you rent through a private rental agreement or own your own home and want to improve the energy efficiency of your home, you can request a visit from an officer through our Energy Doctor scheme.

Keeping your home free from damp and mould
Whilst you may be tempted to turn off your heating in order to save on your bills, a combination of heating and effective ventilation is essential to reducing damp and mould in your home. This will also help reduce the risk of respiratory infections caused by damp and mouldy conditions.
For advice on ventilation, reducing condensation and preventing damp and mould, see Keeping your home free from damp and mould.
