Request support from Helping Hand
Our Helping Hand team is available to help individuals or families in need, those on low incomes and those who are experiencing a financial emergency or crisis.
You can request support if:
- you are struggling to afford food
- you cannot keep on top of your bills
- you are in debt
- you are struggling to pay for essential goods in your home
We will ask a few questions about your situation so we can offer the best support or advice.
We may also ask to see proof of any income and/or any benefits you receive. We can help you to show this information to us if you need it.
We prioritise requests for emergency food or household fuel and aim to respond within 3 working days. All other requests this may take longer.
You only need to contact us again if your circumstances change.
