What you can do if you are affected by modern slavery
Modern slavery is when people are:
- forced by threats or violence to work for little or no pay
- given no power to control what work they do or where they do it
This can include
- domestic slavery
- forced sex work
- being forced to take part in crimes
- forced labour
- child exploitation
Modern slavery is also known as:
- human trafficking
- forced labour
- domestic servitude
