Transfer or change an alcohol licence

You will need to apply for a minor variation if you plan to:

• remove a licensable activity
• reduce the hours you sell alcohol 
• make small changes to the layout of your premises

There is no appeals process for rejected minor variation applications. However, you can reapply using the major (full) variation process.

The fee for a minor variation is £89.

Whether you make a minor or major change, you will need to advertise changes to your alcohol licence.
