As an umbrella body, we can do Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks on behalf of your business or organisation.
We offer a quick, online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) application processing service as well as expert advice on safeguarding and safe recruitment practices.
Our DBS checking service
To request DBS checks through us, you must be able to commit to requesting at least 5 DBS checks from us within 12 months for your organisation.
Our DBS application processing service can help your organisation by:
- processing your application quickly using our online system
- allowing you to hear back from DBS about your applications within an average of 10 days, helping your recruitment process to run efficiently
- offering expert advice through the application process, including quality checking each application before they are submitted to the DBS
- guiding you through the '3 route' ID checking process quickly and easily
Expert advice
As part of the service, we also offer expert advice on:
- eligibility for DBS checks and Barred List checks
- making decisions on who to recruit based on DBS certificates
- using volunteers in your organisation
- applicants that have lived overseas
- contractors visiting your organisation
Fees
These fees cover the application process as well as our expert advice and support.
You will pay a fee for each DBS application.
