Within our county and sets out our aims and ambitions to achieve a thriving and resilient Buckinghamshire.
Having developed the strategic vision, the Board are now engaging with key local stakeholders to deliver the vision.

Local Economic Strategy
Government is encouraging local areas to update economic strategies and work is underway to deliver a new Local Economic Strategy for Buckinghamshire during 2024.
The previous economic strategy for Buckinghamshire, the Buckinghamshire Local Industrial Strategy, was designed to boost productivity and grow the area’s creative, space, advanced manufacturing and digital health capability on the world stage. It was launched in 2019.

The Buckinghamshire Strategic Economic Plan was produced to support the county’s application for the first round of Local Growth Deals. It was produced in 2014 and revised in 2016.
