Corruption
The Purchaser is entitled to terminate the Contract and to recover from the supplier or contractor the amount of any loss resulting from such termination:
- if the supplier or contractor have offered or given a gift to anyone or consideration of any kind as a bribe or reward for doing or abstaining from doing any action in relation to the obtaining or execution of the Contract or any other contract with the Purchaser
- if the supplier or contractor show or abstain from showing favour or disfavour to any person in relation to the Contract or any other contract with the Purchase
- if favour or bribery have been done by any person employed by the Contractor or acting on his behalf (whether with or without the knowledge of the Contractor)
- if in relation to the Contract or any other contract with the Purchaser, the Contractor or any other person employed by him or acting on his behalf have committed any offence under the Prevention of Corruption Acts 1889 to 1916, or shall have given any fee or reward the receipt of which is an offence under sub-section (2) of section 117 of the Local Government Act 1972, or any statutory modification or amendment
