The smallest act of kindness can make the biggest difference to someone this Christmas.
Our Christmas Angels campaign highlights five local charities and encourages Buckinghamshire residents to make a donation to support those in need this winter.
The Festive Five
For this year’s Christmas giving campaign, we are launching Christmas Angels, focusing on five charities in Buckinghamshire which support some of our most vulnerable residents. If you are in a position to be able to donate, please consider making a contribution to one of these worthy causes.
Find out below how your donations could make a real difference to families and individuals who are most in need this winter.

One Can Trust Foodbank
The One Can Trust foodbank provides free, weekly emergency food parcels to anyone in High Wycombe and South Bucks who finds themselves in need.
One Can Trust also offers other services, including toddler groups, cookery classes, supper clubs, a clothes bank and a community café.
Financial donations help to keep the food bank running at a time of severe pressure; they support other services such as lunch and dinner clubs and provide support to parents with young children to help local people who are struggling with poverty
It costs £45 to provide a single adult with a parcel for a week (which includes fruit and vegetables, toiletries and eggs).
Play your part in making sure no one goes hungry this winter and donate to One Can Trust Food Bank.
Aylesbury Vineyard Storehouse (Foodbank)
The Aylesbury Vineyard Storehouse provides essential items for local people on low incomes, benefits or who would otherwise find themselves in temporary hardship. The offer includes providing small household goods, children’s clothing, child and baby equipment and emergency food parcels, free of charge, to those in crisis situations, immediate need and financial hardship.
Over the winter period supplies get lower and more people find themselves in difficult situations. Financial donations to The Aylesbury Vineyard help them to provide food parcels and luxury hampers at Christmas. A donation of £50 would help support a struggling family with a hamper, and a donation of between £10-£20 would help buy a gift for a child or teenager this Christmas.
Help someone receive essential items this winter, and donate to Aylesbury Vineyard Storehouse today.
(Please select ‘Vineyard Storehouse Foodbank’ from the fund drop-down menu when prompted.)
Chiltern Foodbank
Chiltern Foodbank provides emergency food supplies (and toiletries) to individuals and families in crisis in Chesham, Amersham, Missenden, Prestwood, Wendover, the Chalfonts and Gerrards Cross.
The organisation is run by local people for local people – and with the support of the community, they help to relieve the poverty that leads people into food crisis in the area.
Financial donations enable Chiltern foodbank to give grants to initiatives that help clients find long-term solutions, such as helping them get out of debt.
Big or small, every donation you give helps transform lives. Donate to Chiltern Foodbank.
