Aylesbury North ward action plan
Aylesbury North ward partnership has developed an action plan to address local issues and improve opportunities. This is part of the Opportunity Bucks programme which aims to help residents access the opportunities on offer in Buckinghamshire.
The ward partnership would like to hear your ideas on how to improve:
- education and youth engagement
- jobs, careers and skills
- quality of the public realm
- standard of living
- health and wellbeing
We want to hear from the community about your ideas to improve this area.
Local priorities
The ward partnership brings together local people, community groups, organisations, and councillors to take action on what’s important to their area.
We have identified priorities that we are working on over the coming months:
- provide skills development opportunities for 18 to 25 year olds
- improve the use of community spaces and increasing community cohesion and social connections
- improve youth provision in the town, identifying opportunities to improve and enhance the youth offer
Current projects
The ward partnership is working with residents and partners to improve the use of community spaces and increasing community cohesion and social connections.
Following the Dairy Maid community Christmas lunch, residents fed back ideas which are now being progressed including an activity for older residents and scoping of a community get together event in Alfred Rose Park planned for June 2024.
