If your property includes a second separate dwelling (annex) that is rated separately for Council Tax you may be entitled to a 50% discount if both of the following apply:
- the resident of the annex is a relative (if they are a dependant relative you may be eligible for an exemption instead)
- the annex is your relatives sole or main residence
