Buckinghamshire Archives is moving to a new location

The new site will provide significantly better facilities for the archives, customers and staff. To enable the Service to carry out the preparations to move, it will close to onsite public access from late November 2025. So, if you plan to visit the archives around this time, please contact the Service to obtain the latest information.

The Archives Service will reopen in High Wycombe during the summer of 2026.

While closed to onsite access, you can still access the archives, and have professional advice, for free via:
