Climate Change and Air Quality Progress Report 2023 to 2024

In 2022/23 Buckinghamshire Council were awarded £120,000 to provide travel planning support for local businesses. The main aim of this project is to enable greater collaboration with local businesses and encourage low emission vehicle practices and improvements to the fleet travelling in and around Buckinghamshire. Thereby reducing emissions from traffic and encouraging safer driving. A Travel plan consultant has been appointed and Bucks Business First has started recruiting businesses. A promotional event also took place on 14 June 2024 to raise awareness of the project to more local businesses.
