National Youth Advocacy Service are a children's rights-based charity who work with children and young people nationwide. NYAS listen to what children and young people want, care about what they say, and empower them to have their voices heard. NYAS ensure that the wishes and feelings of care-experienced young people are expressed and acted upon. The aim of this is to improve their situation, and to help them build a better future.

NYAS are looking for Independent Visitors; these are adult volunteers who provide support and friendship to a young person in care. This involves establishing a long-term supportive relationship where the young person will have the opportunity to develop their interests, learn new skills and build their self-esteem.

The Oasis Partnership deliver a range of initiatives aimed at improving health and wellbeing. This includes the Routes to Work programme which provides information, support and advice on moving into employment or training/education.
