About the park and facilities
The park is a large open space that forms part of the Riverside Walk. It's great for walking, picnics and informal games
It features one of 3 ‘Play on Birds’ play spaces along the Riverside Walk (for ages 2 to 14) incorporating natural features including a fantastic hand carved art installation which tells the story of the native reed warbler and cuckoo.
The park also has:
- 2 tarmac-surfaced multi-use games areas
- teenage play and fitness items
- sheltered seating
- full-size synthetic sports pitch (for hire) suitable for:
- football (including 5-a-side)
- hockey
- 4 mini pitches (for hire)
Inclusive play items include:
- a dish roundabout
- ball courts
Quarrendon and Meadowcroft Community Centre is across the road (available for hire). The Community Centre is managed by Aylesbury Town Council.
Access and parking
There is good access off of Meadowcroft and Jackson Road with hard-surfaced paths linking all the facilities.
There is lots of car parking available off of Meadowcroft Road next to the sports pitch, and across the road at the Community Centres.
