Wheeler End Common (Wheeler End)
Address
The Common is a large area of rough grassland with open views to the west of High Wycombe, on the edge of Lane End village. It can be reached from the A40 Oxford Road, via the Chipps Hill turning at Piddington, as well as from the B482 Stokenchurch to Marlow road, turning into Bolter End Lane, or along Bullocks Farm Lane, from Lane End.
Facilities
- conservation groups, working with the Ranger Service, are very active on the 25 hectares of common, where there are wild flowers, ponds, allotments and paths through the scrub and trees
- local commoners have grazing rights

- contractors working Buckinghamshire Council cut about 8 hectares of the common several times a year. The Council is responsible for encroachment issues and basic Health and Safety
- the Dashwood Estate, of West Wycombe Park, owns the common and grants access rights to residents with properties that are situated on the common
