In a housing emergency, such as an immediate homelessness situation, you can come to any of our council offices and be referred to a duty homelessness officer.

If you're experiencing a housing emergency (outside of office hours)
If you've been made homeless today, call 0800 999 7677 immediately, for assistance.
We may be able to help you if you have nowhere safe to go tonight, if today you've been:
- evicted by court bailiff
- evicted illegally
- released from prison
- discharged from hospital
- a victim of a fire, flood or disaster
- a victim of an incident of severe harassment
- sleeping rough
