Bus service disruptions and stop closures

These are updated Monday to Friday only and are subject to change.

When: Monday 21 October 2024 to Friday 25 July 2025

What: In addition to the current long term closure of School Hill, Calvert; Gawcott Road, Calvert will also be closed during the above period for HS2 works. As such routes 16 and 18 will be diverting and while all stops will be served delays are likely.

When: Monday 27 January to Saturday 5 April

What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus route 133 will divert missing stops in Chetwode and Preston Bissett.

When: Monday 10 March to Friday 16 May, 9.30am to 3.30pm except between 7 and 24 April when the road will be closed for the whole period.

What: This road will be closed for works by Anglian Water. Once the Crown at Little Horwood is served, bus route 50 will turn and make it's way to Winslow via Great Horwood. No stops will be missed but there are likely to be delays to route 50 during ths period.

When: Friday 14 March to Sunday 20 April

What: This road will be closed for works by Cadent Gas. Buses will divert missing the stops in Coleshill on Magpie Lane and Village Road.

When: Tuesday 18 March to Monday 7 April

What: This road will be closed for works by Thames Water. Buses will divert missing stops between Stoke Poges and the A40 Oxford Road.

When: Monday 24 and Thursday 27 March, 9.30am to 1.30pm

What: This road is closed by HS2. Bus route 16 will enter and leave Quainton via Blackgrove Road, serving Waddesdon before Quainton on journeys towards Aylesbury, and serving Quainton before Waddesdon on journeys from Aylesbury. Passengers are advised that buses travelling towards Aylesbury will serve stops in Waddesdon up to 10 minutes earlier than usual. Buses from Quainton towards Steeple Claydon will serve stops up to 10 minutes earlier.

When: Monday 24 to Saturday 29 March, 8pm to 6am

What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 4A and 4E will divert missing the Paradise Orchard, Sir Henry Lee Crescent stops.

When: Monday 24 March to Sunday 11 May (except 14-19 April)

What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. The One group bus services will divert via the A413 bypass and Gore Hill missing stops on The Broadway, Whielden Street and the Hospital stops on Whielden Lane. For these stops passengers are advised to alight at the stops on Gore Hill, where a shuttle service will operate every half hour to and from the Hospital between 7am and 6.30pm.

When: Tuesday 1 April, 8pm to 6am

What: This road is closed for works by Vodafone. Bus route 850 will run between High Wycombe and Oxford Road, Marlow as normal then turn and divert via the A404 and A4130 to Henley and vice versa. Stops between Henley and Oxford Road in Marlow will not be served.

When: from 9am on Tuesday 1 April to 9am on Wednesday 2 April

What: This road will be closed during this period. Buses will divert missing stops in Hawridge and on Vale Road, Chesham.

When: From 8.30pm on Friday 4 April to 5.30am on Monday 7 April

What: This road is closed between Coldharbour Way and the Bugle Horn for works by HS2. Bus routes will need to divert as follows:

• Bus route 110 will divert via the Bicester Road and Upper Winchendon. Stops between Aylesbury Bus Station and Chearsley will be missed.
• Bus route X20 will divert via Princes Risborough and Kingsey missing all stops between Ellen Road in Aylesbury and Woodways in Haddenham.

When: Saturday 5 to Sunday 20 April

What: This road is closed for works by Cadent Gas. Buses will divert via Bois Avenue missing the stops on Copperkins Lane and Amersham Road (between Copperkins Lane and Bois Avenue.

When: Sunday 6 to Wednesday 9 April

What: This road is closed for works by Cadent Gas. Bus routes 27 and 27A will divert via Totteridge Road missing stops on the London Road, Gordon Road and Bowerdean Road.
