Bus diversions
Road Closures in Charndon, Calvert and Steeple Claydon area
When: Monday 21 October 2024 to Friday 28 March 2025
What: In addition to the current long term closure of School Hill, Calvert; Gawcott Road, Calvert will also be closed during the above period for HS2 works. As such routes 16 and 18 will be diverting and while all stops will be served delays are likely. From 28 October, route 18 will operate to a revised timetable.
Penn Road, Hazlemere/Tylers Green
When: Monday 6 to Friday 17 January
What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus routes 31, 377 and 577 will divert via Ashley Drive missing the stops on Curzon Avenue, Hazlemere Road and the Potters Cross stops on New Road.
Chetwode and Preston Bissett
When: Monday 13 to Friday 31 January
What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus route 133 will divert missing stops in Chetwode and Preston Bissett.
Berry Hill, Taplow
When: Monday 13 to Sunday 26 January
What: This road will be closed for works by Cadent Gas. Bus route 63 will divert missing the Village Green stop on Rectory Road.
Stoke Green, Wexham
When: Monday 13 to Friday 17 January
What: This road has been closed for emergency Thames Water works. Buses are diverting as follows:
- Route 53 will divert missing stops on Gray's Park Road and Stoke Green.
- Route 107 will miss Hollybush Hill and Gray's Park Road stops.
Browns Road, Holmer Green
When: Wednesday 15 January, 9.30am to 3.30pm
What: This road will be closed for works by Openreach. The One buses will divert missing stops on Browns Road, Pond Approach and The Common.
A418, Oxford Road, Stone/Haddenham
When: Wednesday 15 to Tuesday 21 January, 8pm to 6am (6 nights)
What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route X20 will divert via Portway Road and Ford Road, missing all stops in Stone, Dinton and on Church Way and Stanbridge Road in Haddenham.
Rutland Avenue, High Wycombe
When: Friday 17 January, 9.30am to 3.30pm
What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 33 will divert missing stops on Rutland Avenue, Cross Road, Spearing Road and Copyground Lane.
Spinfield Lane, Marlow
When: Friday 17 January, 9.30am to 3.30pm
What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 156 will divert missing Spinfield Lane, Terrington Hill, Barnards Hill and Queen's Road.
New Street, Aylesbury
When: Saturday 18 January to Friday 21 February
What: This road will be closed for works by Cadent Gas. Buses will be given access through the closure and should be able to serve the New Street and High Street stops as normal (except from 6pm on 18 January to end of Sunday 19 January, when the New Street stop is suspended). However, Arriva's X4 and X6 will divert missing all stops on Exchange Street, High Street, New Street and Buckingham Road (between town and the Horse & Jockey junction).
The Broadway, Amersham
When: Sunday 19 January, 8am to 5.30pm
What: Due to a monthly market this road will be closed at these times. Bus routes 1 and 1A will divert missing the stops on The Broadway, Whielden Street and the Hospital stops on Whielden Lane.
