Bus diversions
Road Closures in Charndon, Calvert and Steeple Claydon area
When: Monday 21 October 2024 to Friday 25 July 2025
What: In addition to the current long term closure of School Hill, Calvert; Gawcott Road, Calvert will also be closed during the above period for HS2 works. As such routes 16 and 18 will be diverting and while all stops will be served delays are likely.
Chetwode
When: Monday 27 January until further notice
What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus route 133 will divert missing stops in Chetwode.
Little Horwood Road, Winslow
When: Tuesday 1 April to Friday 16 May
What: This road will be closed for works by Anglian Water. Once the Crown at Little Horwood is served, bus route 50 will turn and make it's way to Winslow via Great Horwood. No stops will be missed but there are likely to be delays to route 50 during this period.
Village Road, Coleshill
When: Friday 14 March to Sunday 20 April
What: This road will be closed for works by Cadent Gas. Buses will divert missing the stops in Coleshill on Magpie Lane and Village Road.
Whielden Lane/Whielden Street, Amersham
When: Monday 24 March to Sunday 11 May (except 14-19 April)
What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. The One group bus services will divert via the A413 bypass and Gore Hill missing stops on The Broadway, Whielden Street and the Hospital stops on Whielden Lane. For these stops passengers are advised to alight at the stops on Gore Hill, where a shuttle service will operate every half hour to and from the Hospital between 7am and 6.30pm.
Copperkins Lane, Amersham
When: Saturday 5 to Sunday 20 April
What: This road is closed for works by Cadent Gas. Buses will divert via Bois Avenue missing the stops on Copperkins Lane and Amersham Road (between Copperkins Lane and Bois Avenue.
A418 Aylesbury Road, Bierton
When: Monday 7 to Sunday 20 April
What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus routes 100 and 165 will divert via Bellingham Way and Mike Griffin Way missing all stops in Bierton.
Oakley Road, Brill
When: Monday 7 to Friday 18 April
What: This road is closed for works by Gigaclear. Bus routes 111, 112 and 113 wil divert missing the stops on The Square in Brill. Passengers are advised to use the stops on Church Street instead.
Oxford Road, Marlow
When: Monday 7 to Sunday 20 April
What: This road is closed for works by Nextfibre. Bus route 850 will divert missing the stops on Oxford Road, Queen's Road and Dean Street.
Bletchley Road, Newton Longville
When: Monday 14 to Thursday 17 April
What: This road is closed for works by the National Grid. Bus route 50 journeys towards Bletchley will divert after serving the Crooked Billet stops on West End Road by turning left onto Whaddon Road and then via Standing Way (and vice versa), missing stops on Whaddon Road in Newton Longville, Bletchley Road and Newton Road.
Kingsmead Road, High Wycombe
When: Wednesday 16 to Tuesday 22 April
What: this road is closued for works by Thames Water. Buses will divert Station Road and the A40 missing stops on Abbey Barn Road and Kingsmead Road.
Stowe Road, Water Stratford
When: Thursday 17 April, 9.30am to 3.30pm
What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus routes B1 and B2 will divert missing the stops in Water Stratford and the Cemetery stops on Water Stratford Road in Tingewick.
Cublington Road, Wing
When: Thursday 17 April, 9.30am to 3.30pm
What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 165 will divert via Dunton Road and Stewkley Road missing the Acorn Farm stops on Wing Road.
The Broadway, Old Amersham
When: Sunday 20 April, 8am to 5.30pm
What: Due to a monthly market, this road will be closed. The shuttle bus put in place for the Whielden Street closure will not operate on this day.
Daws Hill Lane, High Wycombe
When: Tuesday 22 April, 9.30am to 2.30pm
What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 36 will divert missing all stops on Marlow Hill, Daws Hill Lane and Heath End Road.
Pound Lane, Marlow
When: Tuesday 22 April, 9.30am to 3pm
What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 156 will divert missing the two stops on Pound Lane, near Trout Close.
Town Lane, Wooburn Green
When: Tuesday 22 to Friday 25 April, 8pm to 5am
What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 37 will divert via Whitepit Lane and Blind Lane, missing all stops on Town Lane and Cores End Road in Wooburn Green and Bourne End.
Bowerdean Road, High Wycombe
When: Thursday 24 April, 9.30am to 3.30pm
What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways between Gordon Road and Totteridge Road. Bus routes 27 and 27A will divert via Totteridge Road missing all stops on Gordon Road, the Chichester Close and Bowerdean Crossroads stops on Bowerdean Road; and stops on London Road between the town centre and Gordon Road.
High Street, Princes Risborough
When: Saturday 26 April, 2pm to 3pm
What: Due to an event this road will be closed for this hour. Bus routes 130 and 300 will divert via New Road during this time.
