Bus service disruptions and stop closures

These are updated Monday to Friday only and are subject to change.

When: Monday 21 October 2024 to June 2025

What: In addition to the current long term closure of School Hill, Calvert; Gawcott Road, Calvert will also be closed during the above period for HS2 works. As such routes 16 and 18 will be diverting and while all stops will be served delays are likely.

When: Monday 27 January to Friday 21 March

What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus route 133 will divert missing stops in Chetwode and Preston Bissett.

When: Wednesday 22 January to Friday 21 February

What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus routes 153 and 154 will divert via Bushmead Road missing the stops in Cublington, Aston Abbotts and on Aston Abbotts Road, Weedon.

When: Saturday 25 January to Monday 3 March

What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus route 16 will divert missing the stops on Station Road and enter and leave Quainton via Blackgrove Road.

Stops in Waddesdon will be served before Quainton on journeys towards Aylesbury, and Quainton will be served before Waddesdon on journeys from Aylesbury.

Passengers are advised that buses travelling towards Aylesbury may serve stops in Waddesdon up to 10 minutes earlier than usual. Buses in Quainton towards Steeple Claydon may serve stops up to 10 minutes earlier.

When: Friday 7 to Friday 28 February

What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus route 112 will divert via Westcott missing the Waddesdon Hill and Upper Winchendon stops.

When: Monday 17 to Thursday 20 February

What: This road will be closed for works by Affinity Water. Bus route 104 will divert missing stops on Deanway, High Street and stops on the London Road between Chalfont St Giles and Chalfont St Peter.

When: Monday 17 to Wednesday 19 February

What: This road will be closed for works by Anglian Water. Bus routes 131 and 132 will divert via Sandpit Hill missing all stops on Main Street, Tingewick.

When: Monday 17 to Wednesday 19 February

What: This road will be closed for works by Affinity Water. After serving the stops on King's Lane in South Heath bus routes 177 and 190 will divert via Potter Row. Stops on Ballinger Road, in Ballinger Village and in Lee Common will be missed.

When: Monday 17 to Friday 21 February

What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus routes 63 and 68 will divert missing the Village Green stops on Rectory Road.

When: Monday 17 to Tuesday 18 and Friday 21 February, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. After serving the stops on Fowler Road, bus route SR1 will divert via Coldharbour Way missing the stops on Fairford Leys Way.

When: Monday 17 to Friday 21 February, 7pm to 7am

What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 30 will divert missing the stops on Telford Way and Hughenden Avenue between Hughenden Boulevard and Tancred Road.

What: This road will be closed for works by UKPN. Bus route 112 will need to divert missing Bishopstone and all stops between Bishopstone and Aylesbury.

When: Monday 17 to Friday 21 February

What: This road will be closed for works by UKPN. Bus routes 333 and 334 will divert turning in Speen and missing stops on Hampden Road, Bryants Bottom and Warrendene Road.

When: Tuesday 18 to Thursday 20 February

What: This road will be closed for works by Affinity Water. Bus routes 1, 71 and 71A will divert as follows:

• Service 1 will divert via White Hill missing the stops on Broad Street and Eskdale Avenue.
• Services 71 and 71A will divert via White Hill missing the stops on Broad Street towards town and the stops near Bennetts on Eskdale Avenue.

When: Tuesday 18 to Thursday 20 February

What: This road will be closed for works by Anglian Water. Buses will divert missing the stops on Vicarage Road and Burley's Road.

When: Monday 24 February, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 30 will divert missing the Pastures and Pastures Church stops on The Pastures, the Brindley Avenue stops on Hughenden Avenue and the stops on Brunel Road.

When: Monday 24 to Friday 28 February, 8am to 5pm

What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. The Marlow town routes will need to divert missing Spinfield Lane, Terrington Hill and Barnard's Hill.

When: Wednesday 26 February to Saturday 1 March 7pm to 6am

What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Evening journeys on bus route 37 will divert via Whitepit Lane and Blind Lane missing stops on Town Lane, Brookbank and Cores End Road.

When: Wednesday 26 February, 9am to 3pm

What: This road will be closed for works with a crane. Buses will divert missing stops on Oxford Road, Queen's Road and Dean Street.

When: Thursday 27 February

What: This road will be closed for works by UKPN. Bus route 149 will divert missing the stops on Gilbert's Hill, Buckland Common and Cholesbury.

When: Saturday 1 March 8am to 4pm

What: This road will be closed at these times by the shops. Bus route 2 and 4 will need to divert as follows:

• Route 2 will turn right from Quarrendon Avenue onto Meadowcroft then divert via Jackson Road, the Devereux place stop on Bicester Road and the John Kennedy stops on Meadowcroft will be missed.
• Route 4 will divert via the Bicester Road missing Jackson Road and Meadowcroft.
