Check if a parking fine appeal is likely to be successful
A parking fine is legally known as a penalty charge notice (PCN).
Why it's important to check
If you've received a penalty charge notice (PCN) from us, you may be trying to decide whether to pay the charge or appeal.
If you decide to pay, the charge is discounted by 50% if payment is received within 14 days from the date the PCN was issued.
You should not pay a parking fine if you want to appeal. This page provides useful information to help you decide.
Check if an appeal is likely to be successful
On your PCN, you will find a contravention code and description.
Select your contravention below to help you decide whether to pay or appeal.
Be advised that the below list is not exhaustive and PCNs may be issued for other contraventions.
