The Aylesbury Garden Town network

The Aylesbury Garden Town Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) has been produced to outline a comprehensive cycling and walking network for the town.

An important Aylesbury Garden Town aspiration is the provision of an 18km orbital park around Aylesbury called the Aylesbury Gardenway. This will provide a green corridor and accessible radial walking, cycling and wheeling connections around Aylesbury.

This will provide a key link for local journeys between two of Aylesbury’s newest neighbourhoods, Berryfields and Buckingham Park, while also offering links to the wider active travel network in the area.
