Report a planning problem during or after building
After a building or development goes ahead, you can:
- check if there’s a planning or building regulations application - this will tell you if the work got permission or approval, and if there are any conditions the builders or developers must meet
- report a planning breach - the council will look into anything that doesn’t meet conditions or have permission
- report something dangerous - the council will look at safety problems with buildings or other structures, such as walls
Some building projects may not need planning permission from Buckinghamshire Council because they have been granted permission through permitted development rights. Find out more about permitted development rights on GOV.UK.
Applications can also be made after work has started - the council will consider these in the same way as other applications.
