Supplementary Planning Document: Biodiversity Net Gain
Introduction
This supplementary planning document (SPD) has been adopted by Buckinghamshire Council to aid decision making on Planning Applications submitted under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended).
Its aim is to ensure that development within the county provides an increase in biodiversity post development compared to what existed prior to the new development, which is otherwise known as 'biodiversity net gain'.
References to 'option 1': the Buckinghamshire Council off-setting scheme (option 1) was not available when this SPD was adopted.
