Housing land supply
We constantly monitor potential housing sites across the county and keep a 5-year housing land supply register.
This is so we can be sure there are enough sites to meet the housing needs set out in our adopted strategic policies for the next 5 years.
National planning policy sets out a requirement for local planning authorities to demonstrate a 5-year supply of housing against their housing requirement.
