Green Belt assessment
An assessment of Buckinghamshire's Green Belt was commissioned in 2015 by the former county and district local authorities.
The last extensive review of the Green Belt in Buckinghamshire was carried out in the 1970s.
The 2015 assessment aimed to:
- evaluate and assess the suitability of land then designated in the Green Belt
- identify additional land for Green Belt designation
Assessment report
The assessment report helped in the preparation of:
- the Buckinghamshire Minerals and Waste Local Plan (by the former county council)
- the local plans for the former district council areas
