Apply for a secondary school place
Introduction and key dates
If you live in Buckinghamshire, you could apply for a secondary school place between 4 September 2024 and 31 October 2024.
If you didn't apply by 31 October, you will need to submit a late application.
There is a separate application if you want to change school and apply during this academic year.
Buckinghamshire has both upper (all-ability) schools and grammar schools.
If you want your child to attend a grammar school, they must first sit the Secondary Transfer Test and achieve a score of 121.
