Book a bulky waste collection
You can request that we collect bulky items, such as furniture, fridges, freezers or TVs, from your home if you're unable to visit a household recycling centre.
We charge a fee for the items to be removed.
We no longer offer discounts for the bulky collection service.
This service is for household items only. Items may be sent for reuse.

Garden furniture
- barbeque
- lawnmower
- dismantled swing
- children's plastic toys
We cannot collect:
- ceramic or plastic bathroom suites or shower cubicles
- boilers or water tanks
- building waste (plasterboard, rubble, ceramic tiles, asbestos)
- carpet, linoleum or laminate flooring
- doors or windows
- garden waste
- kitchen units
- plate glass
- sheds or fence panels
- car tyres
- pianos

Book a collection
Before making a booking, you should read our bulky waste terms and conditions.
On your collection day
If you have booked a bulky waste collection, make sure you:
- only put out the items that you have booked for collection
- put the items at the front of your property by 6am on appointment day
- do not obstruct the pavement or street
We'll only collect items that you have listed for collection and that the collection crew can get to.
Sell or reuse your items
Before you book a collection, why not try to:
- sell the item on Gumtree or Facebook Marketplace
- donate the item to a local charity who offer collections, such as British Heart Foundation or Aylesbury Vineyard Storehouse
- give them away for free, for example by using Freegle or LoveJunk
- donate items for reuse at any of the 10 Household Recycling Centres.
