What to expect when you visit
This site is busiest on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The site is quietest on Tuesday mornings.
During busy periods, especially at weekends, last entry may be before 4pm to allow those already onsite to unload their waste and exit before the site closes.
Buckinghamshire residents will visit free of charge, but there will be costs if they are disposing of any non-household waste. Waste permits will be needed if residents are visiting in commercial vehicles, or want to use trailers.
Before you visit
If you live in Buckinghamshire remember to bring proof of address to avoid the access fee. Proof of address could be a:
- council tax statement
- utility bill
- driving licence
Check what you can recycle at this centre.
Business or commercial waste
No business or commercial waste is allowed on site, find an alternative site.
Being a good neighbour
Bledlow is a rural site so consider the local area when travelling. Try to avoid busy times at the site and in nearby villages to reduce congestion and consider using other larger sites if you have a lot of waste to bring. Take care of cyclists, farm machinery and other road users when entering and exiting the site.
We have worked with the Chiltern Rangers to improve the biodiversity on the site. You can find out more about the work on the Chiltern Rangers website.
Users from outside Buckinghamshire
Residents who live outside of Buckinghamshire must pay an access fee to visit the site. The fee is charged on each visit and depends on the type of waste and size of vehicle. View fees for residents outside of Buckinghamshire.
