Corporate plans and priorities
We're committed to delivering high quality services built around the needs of our customers.
Our vision and key priorities for 2020 to 2025 are outlined in our corporate plan.
Portfolio priorities
Each year our Cabinet Members work with services to develop their Portfolio priorities.
These can be found outlined in our Medium Term Financial Plan, alongside an overview of each portfolio, and challenges and risks for each area.
In order to reflect on our delivery and achievements against our corporate plan priorities, we have produced an annual report for 2023 to 2024. This is focused on activities we would usually expect to deliver in a normal year.
This Productivity Plan has been submitted to the new Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) previously the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities DLUHC).
It has been produced in response to the DLUHC review of productivity in local government and outlined in the Local Government Finance Settlement 2024/2025.
Our Productivity Plan is arranged around the four themes:
- Transformation of Services – Achievements to Date
- Transformation of Services – Future Plans
- Driving Efficiency Measures
- Productivity Assurance
The Plan outlines activity the Council has undertaken and continues to undertake to fulfil our commitment to providing 'value for money' services while implementing effective transformational programmes, delivering against our Medium-Term Financial Plan, and ensuring a productive workforce – while maintaining alignment with the goals set out in our Corporate Plan 2020-2025.
