Electoral boundary reviews
There have recently been two reviews of electoral boundaries in Buckinghamshire.
These were carried out by:
- Boundary Commission for England
- The Local Government Boundary Commission for England
Parliamentary Boundary Review
The Boundary Commission for England (BCE) reviewed Parliamentary Boundaries in England, in 2023.
They have decided that the number of constituencies in the South East will increase from 84 to 91 and this will involve moving some existing constituency boundaries.
The secondary consultation has closed but information about the review and the proposals for constituencies in Buckinghamshire can be viewed on the BCE website.
Buckinghamshire Electoral Review
The Local Government Boundary Commission for England conducted an electoral review to draw up new ward boundaries across Buckinghamshire.
The Commission has recommended that the council has 97 councillors in future and will be presenting proposals to Parliament by laying an Order.
