How the council makes decisions

Some decisions, such as agreeing the budget, are taken by Full Council, which meets 6 times a year.

The current Council Leader is Cllr Martin Tett.

Committee and Cabinet memberships are agreed annually at the May meeting. This meeting also involves the election of the council's Chairman.
