This privacy notice relates to:

  • WhizzFizzFest Schools artists workshops and WhizzFizzFest events

We will collect the following information about you:

  • School/Organisation name
  • Name representative/s
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Teacher/staff member/adult responsible.
  • Number of adults and children attending
  • Age/Year group of children participating

Note: The artwork created will be displayed in the public domain at one or more of the following events and images may be taken by the public:

  • WhizzFizzFest at Aylesbury on Sea on 2 July
  • WhizzFizzFest at Desborough Carnival on 8 July
  • WhizzFizzFest at Hat’s Off Chesham on 15 July

We will use your information to:

Efficiently organise the artists workshops. Liaise in the run up to and on the day of the workshops and in relation to the display of pupils’ artwork. Notify organisations of any changes to planned workshops and any other relevant information.

We are using your information because we need it to:

Our legal basis to use the information is to carry out any contract between us and/or for legitimate interests in promoting and organising the event and/or to generate interest and community satisfaction and to comply with the law (health and safety and insurance and financial regulations).

We may share your information with:

Where applicable, the artist providing the workshop, the organisations organising the display of the artwork at the events and the Buckinghamshire Council’s Culture Team.

We may also share your information with other bodies responsible for auditing or administering public funds, and in relation to safeguarding purposes or in connection with the prevention of crime, criminal or legal investigations or proceedings including fraud (and the National Fraud Initiative) or regulatory functions.

We will only use the information we hold about you for the reasons above but if we need to use it for any other reason we will normally tell you.
